I have been teaching
a visual process journaling class,
this past academic year-through the
Granite School District at Skyline High School,
Tuesday evenings -
it has been an awesome experience for me!
Some of the journaling participants
have dubbed it 'Creative Meditation'
...good description I feel!
The class is ongoing...
I guide participants through
unique, fun, creative activities
that involve collage and simple writings.
The class runs in 6 week blocks.
NO ARTISTIC TALENT IS REQUIRED!

Class Description
Dive below the surface of your everyday routine to make unexpected connections
and have surprising insights by creating your own visual journal.
Take this opportunity to playfully and creatively practice self-trust, self-discovery and self-kindness.
Gather and collage images from magazines, books, photos, junk mail and from ticket stubs, old receipts, candy wrappers and more.
With the guidance of the teacher, students spontaneously and creatively enhance and enrich pages with personal writings and art to make a treasured journal. No art experience necessary.
