On the drive from Salt Lake to Sacramento the Salt Flats looked amazing!

We have driven through them so many times we can’t count…but this time I asked my husband to pull into a rest stop so I could take a photo…something I have never felt compelled to do before!
The salt was a brilliant white …not the usual dingy gray…the starkness of the landscape was breathtaking in the early morning light!
