Okay....some information about my Etsy Shops listed on the right side of the blog page. If you click on the word Etsy you will go to the general Etsy site. If you click on the title of the shops - ZinJan Art-twowinkies-terryscopes-you will go directly to the shops.
A bit of history. The twowinkies shop was founded by myself and my sister Joan. She lives in NJ on the awesome Atlantic Ocean and I live in UT in the gorgeous Wasatch Mountains. The site was an incredible way for the 2 of us to be involved with each others lives and expanding the conversation to more than how's the weather?
We sell digital collage sheets of original and vintage images...we have done exhaustive research on images that we think are very cool...and most of which are not the same images everyone else sells. Yes we are a bit quirky. Originally we started out with the Wizard of Oz Book Series images - thanks to my husband's family -thus came the name twowinkies.
As we weren't selling enough sheets to make a living...I decided to use our images to make wearable art pendants and sell at local markets. They were a hit and I was able to make a living during the market season. Off market season was a bit rough...no it was really rough...so here I am at the beginning of season 2...in larger markets...and 2 new product lines. The big dream for twowinkies was a greeting card design business...a dream we are still pursuing...so we'll keep you posted on 'The Big Dream'...because we both still believe dreams come true.
Note: I am still trying to figure out how to have my market dates appear statically on the front blog page and how folks can get a feed to the blog...I am confident I will accomplish these tasks successfully!
