Go With The Flow!

Goslings-T.Scopes 6/11

So...I am on my daily walk around the pond in the Park...the sidewalks are underwater...the road in areas looks more like a stream...and I find myself admiring the ducklings and goslings and their mothers. First impression is, how fresh and new the younglings are…then I am totally relating to how protective the mamas are…seems the mother thing is universal to all species! Then I noticed how effortlessly they are swimming in the recently created wetlands from the mountain runoff-in the grassy areas and in the widened pond that covers the sidewalks.

They don’t seem anxious that there’s flooding…or flustered that the terrain is different…it appears to me they are like…cool…our swimming space has just expanded…they just go with the flow.

Hmmm…think that’s a good lesson for me to take to heart…try to be more water-fowl-like in my daily swim through life!
